Removal of water from any fruit or vegetable
Dehydration is simply the process of removing water from an item. Air-drying is how we do it. It's the most reliable and natural way. It is commonly done for the purpose of preventing spoilage by Bacteria, which thrive in the presence of water. And nobody wants that!

Specialization in time-sensitive Air-Drying
Like they say, you can't compare apples to oranges. But we try. Tweaking the temperature, fans and dry time allows us to get it right every time. For you techies...thermostatic temperature settings...variable speed controlled fans...circulating forced hot air...all result in the exact moisture content desired. So your precious cargo is dried right, every time.
24/6 drying = next day turnaround
On the seventh day, we rest. But on the other six, we go hard, 24/6. Here's a snapshot of the process: schedule delivery and drop off to our dock. Product is loaded directly on to drying trays and rolled in to our tunnel dryer. When finished, product goes directly in to bags and boxes furnished by you and we seal them up. You pick it up. Done.
By The Numbers:
-
15-20 pounds of wet product per tray
-
24 trays per tower
-
40 towers per drying cycle
-
5-8 hours per drying cycle
Air-tight, vacuum sealed packaging on site
An upgrade from the days of twist ties. We can label your shipments as well. It's one more stage eliminated in your seed to sale process and more time for you to focus on what you do best: sowing and growing.
